Members and participating institutions
The network organisational form and capacity building purpose of African Management Development Institutes' Network (AMDIN) requires that one has a broad interpretation of which organisations constitute part of the network.
Founding members
The following organisations are recognised in history as the founding members of AMDIN:

African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM)
African Training and Research Centre in Administration for Development (CAFRAD)
Centre for Specialization in Public Administration and Management (CESPAM), University of Botswana
Development Policy Management Forum (DPMF)
Ethiopian Civil Service College (ECSC)
Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA)
Kenya Institute of Administration (KIA)
Malawi Institute of Management (MIM)
South African Management Development Institute (SAMDI)
Tanzania Public Service College (TPSC)
Uganda Management Institute (UMI)

Members in good standing
For purposes of network governance, for example institutions who can vote for, or be elected to the governance structures of AMDIN, the distinguishing criteria will be the payment of membership dues.
