Members and participating institutions
The network organisational form and capacity building purpose of African Management Development Institutes' Network (AMDIN) requires that one has a broad interpretation of which organisations constitute part of the network.
Founding members
The following organisations are recognised in history as the founding members of AMDIN:

For purposes of network governance, for example institutions who can vote for, or be elected to the governance structures of AMDIN, the distinguishing criteria will be the payment of membership dues.

Note that KIA is also regarded as a paid-up member due to the fact that a large amount is owed to KIA by UNDP in respect of an event hosted in Kenya by KIA for AMDIN. At the November 2009 Executive Council meeting it was resolved that the Chairperson and Treasurer will follow up and get UNDP to pay this amount and that it will not offset membership fees but until this happens, KIA will not pay membership fees.
Note that the UNDP has refunded KIA for all expenses in February 2010. KIA is now fully liable for membership fees if it wishes to be a member of AMDIN, and will be invoiced accordingly.
